Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the sale of knives and other products by JV Blade through the JV Blade website or subsequent e-mail communication.

Products

JV Blade offers handmade knives and related products.
Each knife is an original piece. Small variations in material, surface finish, handle pattern or details of workmanship are a natural part of handmade production.
The photos and product description are intended to present the offered piece or series as accurately as possible.

Order

An order is made by individual agreement between the buyer and the seller.
Sending a form on the website or an e-mail does not automatically conclude a purchase contract. It serves as an enquiry.
The purchase contract is concluded only once the order has been confirmed by the seller, usually by e-mail.

Price and Payment

The price of the product is stated for the specific piece, or agreed individually.
The seller is not a VAT payer.
Payment is made by bank transfer, unless the seller and the buyer agree otherwise.
The product is shipped or handed over after the payment has been credited, unless agreed otherwise.

Shipping and Handover

The method of shipping or personal handover is agreed individually.
The shipping cost will be communicated to the buyer before the order is confirmed.
The seller will carefully pack the product so that it is protected during normal transport.

Withdrawal from the Contract

If the buyer is a consumer and the contract was concluded remotely, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product.
The buyer may send the withdrawal by e-mail to hey@jvblade.cz.
The buyer does not have to give a reason for withdrawal.
The product must be returned undamaged, clean, unused beyond what is necessary to become familiar with the product, and ideally in its original packaging.
The cost of returning the product is paid by the buyer, unless the parties agree otherwise.
The seller will refund the money received from the buyer after receiving the returned product, no later than within the statutory period.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products modified according to the buyer’s wishes or made to order.

Complaints

The buyer may make a complaint by e-mail to hey@jvblade.cz.
It is recommended to include a description of the problem and attach photographs.

Complaints do not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper use, neglected maintenance, corrosion caused by improper handling, or changes in the appearance of carbon steel caused by normal use.
Carbon steel knives are not stainless. After use, they should be wiped dry and treated with oil as needed.

Safety and Use

JV Blade knives are sharp tools. The buyer is responsible for their safe use, storage and maintenance.
The knives are not intended for children.

Sale to Minors

The products are intended for persons over 18 years of age.
I may refuse an order from a person under 18 years of age or make it conditional on the consent of their legal guardian.

Alternative Dispute Resolution

The Czech Trade Inspection Authority is responsible for alternative dispute resolution in consumer disputes.

Final Provisions

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
The seller may amend these Terms and Conditions. For a specific order, the version effective at the time of its confirmation applies.
