Orders and delivery
JV Blade knives are handmade individual pieces or small series. For that reason, ordering does not work like a regular e-shop with a shopping cart.
How the Order Process Works
If you are interested in a knife, send me a message through the form on the website or e-mail me at hey@jvblade.cz
Sending the form is not an automatic order. I treat it as a non-binding enquiry.
I will get back to you by e-mail and we will confirm the availability of the knife, the price, shipping and any other details.
The order becomes binding only once we confirm it together by e-mail.
Available Knives
For available knives, it is possible to arrange the purchase of a specific piece.
Each knife is a handmade original. The photos and description are intended to present the offered piece or series as accurately as possible.
Custom Work
I handle custom work only individually and depending on my current availability.
If you are interested in a similar style, material or knife size, you can contact me. This does not automatically mean that I will accept the custom order.
For custom work, the price, approximate timeframe and basic form of the knife are always agreed in advance.
Payment
Payment is made by bank transfer, unless we agree otherwise.
I will send the payment details by e-mail after the order is confirmed.
I ship or hand over the knife after the payment has been credited, unless we agree otherwise.
Delivery
The delivery method is agreed individually for each order.
I will pack the knife carefully so that it is protected during normal transport.
The shipping cost will be communicated before the order is confirmed.
Personal Handover
Personal handover is also possible by agreement.
The place and time will always be confirmed individually by e-mail.
Returns and Complaints
Returns and complaints are governed by the Terms and Conditions.
If something is not right with the knife after delivery, e-mail me as soon as possible at hey@jvblade.cz
Ideally, attach photos of the issue as well.
Knife Care
Carbon steel knives are not stainless. After use, they should be wiped dry and treated with oil as needed.
Colour changes, patina or small signs of use are normal with carbon steel.
